Abstract:
La presente investigación titulada: “LA PERSONA DEL ESPÍRITU SANTO SEGÚN
SAN BASILIO DE CESAREA EN LA FORMACIÓN ESPIRITUAL DE LOS ESTUDIANTES
DE TEOLOGÍA DEL SEMINARIO MAYOR SAN JOSÉ, CAÑETE-2021”, desarrollada
mediante el estudio descriptivo, tuvo como objetivo general la descripción de la Persona del
Espíritu Santo según san Basilio de Cesarea y de la formación espiritual en los seminaristas de
teología.
Por eso, esta investigación comprendió la mutua conexión solícita entre la Persona del
Espíritu Santo y la formación espiritual. Elementos que por naturaleza se reclaman, porque solo
se alcanza una sólida vida interior si se es dócil a la acción escondida del Paráclito. Así pues, se
exteriorizó que la intervención del Espíritu Santo es una necesidad para que el seminarista pueda
crecer espiritualmente, ya que el Consolador es el agente principal de su formación.
Esta indagación descriptiva se justificó en la formación de los estudiantes del Seminario
Mayor. A ellos se les exige una honda y rica vida interior, porque es el sustento del ministerio
sacerdotal que recibirán en años posteriores. Y esto se consigue con la práctica de los medios
espirituales propuesto en el seminario, y realizado siempre con la asistencia del Espíritu Santo.
Este trabajo de investigación está desarrollado desde un matiz cristiano. No se pretende,
con esto, hacer un tratado de Pneumatología, sino que sirva de material introductorio
meditabundo sobre la Persona del Espíritu Santo y la formación espiritual en los estudiantes del
Seminario mayor.
En conclusión, La Persona del Espíritu Santo según San Basilio se describe como la
tercera Persona de la Santísima Trinidad, que procede del amor del Padre y del Hijo. Además,
como un ser incorpóreo, una esencia inteligente, esto a la vez repercute en la formación espiritual
de los seminaristas de teología.
